Dex's Diner

 Background
Obi-Wan Kenobi visit’s Dex’s Diner on his quest to find information about the mysterious plot to assassinate Senator Amidala. The restaurant is a nod to the classic, greasy spoon, American diners from the 1950s, such as Mel’s Drive-In in George Lucas’s film American Graffiti.

The interior of Dex’s Diner closely resembles the diner in American Graffiti. Diners fell out of favor in 1970s, when the fast food industry began to gain widespread popularity.
