Morpheus
Background |
The Greek god of sleep and dreams is named Morpheus. The god can take human form and visit individuals in their dreams and is also said to supply dreams to heros and kings, which is fitting since in The Matrix (1999), Morpheus visits Neo while Neo is still "asleep" in the false world controlled by the Matrix. |
