Padme Amidala's peaceful homeworld may have been named after Nabu, the Babylonian god of wisdom, agriculture, and writing. The serene planet boasts many sweeping landscapes and well designed marvels including most prominently Theed Royal Palace, which serves both as the capital of Naboo and the residence of its elected sovereign. The planet maintained a peaceful philosophy and resolve even through war and conflict.
