Background of Indiana Jones dragging under Nazi truck
The stunt was preformed by stuntman Terry Leonard. The stunt was inspired by the stunt preformed by legendary stuntman Yakima Canutt in the 1939 movie Stagecoach.
In Stagecoach, Cannutt climbs down on the front side of a team of galloping horses, slides beneath the horses to the back of the stagecoach, and climbs up the back of the stagecoach. Similarly, in Raiders, stuntman Terry Leonard climbs down the front of a moving truck, slides to the back end of the truck, and climbs onto the back of the vehicle.
Indiana Jones, jumping on the truck he will soon drag under.
