The Sith

 Background
The Sith Lords retake control of the galaxy after Darth Sidious covertly contrives a plan to overthrow the Republic. In the Star Wars galaxy, the Sith were thought to be extinct for a thousand years before Darth Sidious and Darth Vader seize power.

The word “sith” is a real word with Old English origins that means “since.” One definition of “since” is “continuously from the time when” which is appropriate since the Sith existed for the entire time, though the Jedi and most of the galaxy believed the group to be extinct.
