A boomerang is an instrument originally used by the native people of Australia, the Aborigines. The tool’s distinctive trait is that when thrown correctly, the boomerang returns to the thrower. The sleek metal and edgy design of the Batarang is derived from the Ninja throwing stars, known as shurikens, utilized by Ra’s al Ghul’s ninja followers.
